Client is 79, interviewed by police after a complaint of rape was received.
Client had met complainant on an asian dating site and after she professed an early love and desire to marry with an aim to achieving permanent residency for her and her daughter in New Zealand, they married here a few months later. Client brought complainant and her daughter to live in NZ. 1 year later, complainant left client and laid a complaint of rape and sexual assault with the police. Paul attended police interview and ensured client expressed his version of events fully, asserting no sexual assault or rape was present in the relationship. Charges were dropped and no further complaints laid against the client.
